Celebrate the beauty of everyday life with our most popular product - our Rātaka bilingual (Te Reo Māori & English) daily planner. Rātaka is commonly translated to mean 'calendar'. It is a reference to Rā - our sun deity, Tamanuiterā and taka, meaning to rotate or circuit. Rātaka is based on the solar calendar, and everyday movement of the sun, so is the most common name for daily planners & diaries.

Beautiful journal with a Te Ao Māori lens. FYI on māehe 6-7 the days are wrong but I don’t really mind. Maybe just something to look into in case some more ra’s are incorrect. Love this though
I was gifted a B5 Waiporopora-taku tino Tae- so purchased an A5 Pango for my Hoa Tāne who loves his one too. Take them wherever we go, bible study group, huihuingā...Arohanui ki a kourua, ko Tusi raua ko Tuhi!!
I am currently doing a beginners Te Reo course & decided that having a bilingual diary would increase my exposure to Māori kupu. I love that this planner has a day per page view but also from a learners perspective I also love the karakia, waiata, whakataukī & kīwaha pages at the front as well as a couple of pages to help with putting a pepeha together. I have only just received mine however, I can also tell that the quality is fantastic. Would recommend :)
Kua hokona te Rātaka 2024. He pai te whakapaku i te Rātaka nei. He rawe hei whakamahi. Ataahua hoki! Karawhuia e te whanau o Tuhi. Ngā mihi!
Each year, as it draws to a close, I look forward to ordering my raataka for the coming year.
I love that it is more than just a diary. It allows me to focus and make plans, along with encouraging me to build my understanding of te reo.
Actually, It is more of a companion than a simple diary.
