Although my purchase was the wrong purchase I still love my "nga Mata o te maramataka" straight forward easy guidelines and instructions will definitely purchase more items in the future.

I've been journalling now for two weeks.
The new moon began the day after my elderly father-in-law passed and I started the diary then. All of the family were in lockdown in AK and none of us could go up to see him in his rest-home in Northland - nor could we have a funeral. It has been a rough four years for our family and I was all over the place; but I thought to myself: "No - you start today." Whiro is a new period, a time for insights and to be strategic. I decided to start with a two week period of mourning for my father-in-law, a kind of clearance. My husband's bereavement leave coincided with a holiday we'd already booked. We couldn't go anywhere, so instead we have eaten, drunk, caught up on sleep, reminisced, walked on the beach, collected driftwood, worked in the mara, and made wishes. And every day I have consulted Te Aratohu Maramataka and made notes, as well as writing poetry and taking photos to clip into the journal. It's been incredibly peaceful and healing; and odd little things have started to change - ideas we have talked about for years are now starting to sprout into life or change. There is always some renewal after a soul has passed of course; but following the phases of the moon combined with the act of journalling seems to have centred me and made me very attuned to how the universe is moving and how I am moving through it. I love the layout of the diary and how having to consult the guide sheet really makes me slow down listening to my body and to nature. I am learning such a lot and am really looking forward to the next few months of this mahi. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful products reminds me to use and practice my te reo Māori, I'm only a beginner so really helps me to retain what I have learnt and it's a great talking piece which promotes te reo

Rang your Dispatch person, Maki, as book came up as having been delivered, but I couldn't locate it. Maki was really brilliant - very helpful and kind. Top marks to Maki. Turned out that my 'goose' of a hubby had picked up the packaged book, which was in the letterbox, with lots of 'junk' mail and put the whole lot in the Re-cyling!

Im impressed with how much resource information given with our maramataka. Its cool to see how Tuhi has provided other links or resources and acknowledged that there are more then one version of the maramataka

I purchased two Nga Mata O Te Marama
As I started to full in each day and learn more of the phases and Activities & Observations; it became more apparent what I responded to.
Most important what my "four cornerstone's" needed to thrive and pull myself up again!
The guide sheet is awesome and everything is so well laid out & easy to understand and navigate around.
It will be interesting to see similarities & differences as I follow the moon's phases and enter my own observations

I've been using Tuhi Stationery journals on and off for over a year. It's taken me a while to create the habit of writing daily. However, the beauty of the process is that it doesn't matter how long it takes the journals have helped balance my thoughts with reminders of karakia, observations and self-reflection. I've now progressed to using the Whiro Journal and absolutely love capturing the tide and maramara times. Using my journal while navigating my way through the Tuhi Raukura online learning is such an empowering way to self-guide and self learn.
Ka nui te aroha ki a kōrua for this gift of knowing x
