These Karakia Cards are sourced from the karakia from our past annual planners that many customers love referring to daily and had requested we turn into a set of cards for use at home or at work. We have curated a selection of 20 karakia that can be learnt and used safely every day.
Each card has the karakia in Te Reo Māori & English for new learners to follow and use. We have a variety of different karakia on our You Tube site for new learners to hear and follow the correct pronunciation.
Please note - These Karakia cards do not include any karakia tawhito, or other karakia that are best learnt in wananga with guidance. While we note that some well known karakia often said today (ie whakatakata te hau) are shortened versions or snippets of historically significant karakia - these versions in our Karakia card sets are now in everyday use and are suitable for new learners to respectfully learn, practice and use in everyday settings when appropriate.

The set contains 20 karakia cards (A6 size) printed in colour on 400 GSM card paper, single & double sided (depending on prayer)
Environmental Impact
This product is manufactured in NZ by FSC Certified printers using sustainable paper and vegetable soy based inks. The print is standard sized and double sided to reduce waste.
