The Mōhio Matariki Tester Pack is a free digital "event-in-a-box" designed around the 2026 Matariki theme — Matariki herenga waka, for everyone. It allows anyone to run a live, multiplayer trivia event from their own devices — no app download or subscription required. However if you prefer the old fashioned answer sheets - we also have those available to download so individuals/ teams can select their answers and hand in at the end of each round for someone to score and let everyone know the winners!
This free tester includes 6 rounds of 60 questions covering Matariki knowledge from the basics right through to an expert-level Bonus Round — enough for a full workplace event or whānau gathering of 45–60 minutes.
Mōhio is both a digital trivia platform and an upcoming physical board game, currently in development. Your participation helps us refine the product before we release the full Mōhio game for sale. Proceeds from future sales will help fund production of the Mōhio Māori Trivia Board Game.

Shipping
How is shipping calculated?
We use the Go Sweet Spot App to calculate shipping rates dependent on order value, weight and your location. The average cost is between $7.00 - $15.00 - but may differ depending on those variables.
Free domestic shipping:
We offer free shipping on all NZ domestic orders over $100.00. Free shipping will not apply if you are using any discounts that take the final amount payable below $100.00
Domestic: Orders:
All items are normally shipped within 48 hours using NZ Post Overnight Courier (Auckland). You will receive email confirmation when your item has been picked up, is out for delivery, and delivered. Any queries relating to the order delivery need to be directed to NZ Post first.
International Orders:
All items are normally shipped within 1-3 days using NZ Post. You will receive email confirmation when your item has been picked up, is out for delivery, and delivered. Any queries relating to the order delivery need to be directed to NZ Post.
Packaging:
Aligned to our sustainability values, we aim to minimise waste and any un-necessary packaging. All customer orders are packed in either paper, or recyclable / compostable mailer bags purchased locally from R3Pack. Some items maybe shrink wrapped or in PLE packaging to protect the item. We repurpose and re-use all of our supplier stock boxes, and all excess are given away free to the public as they make perfect moving house boxes.

Environmental Impact
The print industry has a large impact on te Taiao (environment), so it is important to us to find ways to minimise our own impact.

It was great to have this already set up and ready to go. We did have a wee problem with a student being kicked out halfway through but not sure if that was a platform problem or something else. They jumped back in but then showed up as 2 people.
Ngā mihi, your feedback is more helpful than you might realise! Sometimes a phone screen locking or a browser quietly refreshing can cause a player to lose their connection mid-game. If that happens, they can jump straight back in using the game code and their name — just make sure to use exactly the same name as the first time, otherwise it can show up as a second player. Keeping screens active while playing helps avoid this altogether. Your review has helped me review some of the game mechanics and its coding - so I know what needs to be improved under the hood before we release a paid version of our digital trivia game — so really appreciate you taking the time to share a review.
