Te Tiriti — Limited Edition 1,000-Piece Puzzle
Two flags — the Union Jack (British Flag) and Te Kara o Te Whakaminenga o Ngā Hapū o Niu Tireni (He Whakaputanga flag) — overlay and fracture each other across the canvas. At the centre, Theresa looks directly outward — a self-portrait, placed deliberately between a Māori Rangatira on her left and Queen Victoria on her right. The document they negotiated sits beneath it all.
This is Theresa's most personal work in the series. She carries both Ngāpuhi and European whakapapa — the two parties who stood on either side of that signing — and rather than observe that tension from a distance, she places herself inside it. Neither resolving it nor turning away from it. It will generate conversation wherever it's assembled.
Only 200 printed — no reprint planned.
